WARRANTY OFFERED BY LAJDM

• Used Replacement Engines – 60 Day Warranty (Unless otherwise specified on the sales receipt)• Used Performance Engines Including Turbo, VTEC, i-VTEC, VVT, VVTi, and GTE Models – 30 Day Warranty (Unless otherwise specified on the sales receipt)• Rotary Engines (Mazda RX-7, Mazda RX-8, 13B, 13BT/13BTT, 20B) – NO WARRANTY• Used Performance Transmissions – 30 Day Warranty• Used Replacement Transmissions – 60 Day Warranty (Unless otherwise specified on the sales receipt)• Parts Sold As-Is

Any turbocharged and/or performance units are for California off-road use only.

Warranty is VOID if the engine or transmission is modified from its original OEM factory condition. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Turbos• Superchargers• Tunes• Nitrous• Any other power adders

Removing the cylinder head(s) from the engine block or splitting/opening the transmission case will VOID the warranty.

LAJDM is not responsible for any return shipping costs, transportation costs, labor charges, storage fees, towing fees, or any other related expenses.

By completing the purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all LAJDM Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policies.

Customer understands and agrees that all warranty claims, exchanges, or refunds require the engine/transmission to be returned to LAJDM for inspection and verification before any resolution is approved.

Customers may NOT keep the engine/transmission and receive a refund, replacement, chargeback, or reimbursement.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON DEPOSITS

Deposits on engines, transmissions, and parts will hold the item for 30 days. After 30 days, LAJDM may release the item if no further payments have been made.

The full balance must be paid within 30 days from the deposit date. No refunds will be issued after the 30-day period.

The buyer must pick up the item or arrange shipping within 25 days after the full balance has been paid.

ITEMS AND CONDITIONS COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY

The warranty covers internal engine components only, including:

• Pistons• Piston Rings• Piston Pins• Crankshaft and Main Bearings• Connecting Rods and Rod Bearings• Camshaft and Camshaft Bearings• Timing Chain and Timing Gears• Intake and Exhaust Valves• Valve Springs, Seals, and Guides• Oil Pump• Push Rods• Rocker Arms and Shafts

The engine block, cylinder walls, and cylinder head are warrantied to be free from deep cracks or distortions that would prevent the engine from operating under the manufacturer’s intended use.

LAJDM reserves the right to service, repair, rebuild, or exchange components at its sole discretion prior to sale if deemed necessary.

ITEMS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

Warranty does NOT cover external accessories or components attached to the engine or transmission, including but not limited to:

• Intake and Exhaust Manifolds• Carburetors• Distributor• Starter• Emission Components• Flywheel• Clutch and Pressure Plate• Water Pump• Thermostat• Belts and Hoses• Oil Pan• Valve Cover• Sensors• Electrical Components• Injectors• ECU/Computers• Wiring• Turbochargers• Driveshafts• Engine Mounts• Axles/Half Shafts

LAJDM reserves the right to deny warranty claims caused by customer negligence, improper installation, overheating, lack of maintenance, low fluid conditions, abuse, racing, tuning, detonation, or mechanic error.

Used engines and transmissions should be inspected and monitored carefully during the first 50–100 miles after installation.

Professional installation by a certified mechanic is strongly recommended. Failure to install the engine or transmission through a certified mechanic may VOID the warranty at LAJDM’s discretion.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT CLAIM PROCEDURE

In the unlikely event of a defective engine, cylinder head, engine block, or transmission, the following must be provided to LAJDM:

• A detailed written report from a Certified Mechanic• Clear pictures and videos of the defective part• A copy of the mechanic’s certification/license• The mechanic’s contact information

LAJDM reserves the right to contact and verify all mechanic information and documentation provided.

The certified mechanic submitting the claim may not be the same individual who purchased the engine or transmission.

All required documents must be emailed to:[email protected]

Once the required paperwork is reviewed, LAJDM will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include:

• Repair• Replacement• Refund for defective parts only• Return for inspection

Shipping charges, labor costs, diagnostic fees, towing fees, and any additional expenses are NOT covered under warranty.

All returned engines/transmissions must be complete with no parts missing. Missing components may be deducted from replacement units or refunds.

LAJDM reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.

RETURN / REFUND POLICY

All refused, canceled, or returned orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee based on the original item price, plus all original shipping charges and return freight charges back to our warehouse. NO EXCEPTIONS.

LAJDM is not responsible for any damages that occur during shipping or transportation of any engine, transmission, or parts once the shipment has left our facility. Customers must inspect all shipments upon delivery and report any freight damage immediately to the shipping carrier.

LAJDM is not responsible for any labor costs, installation costs, diagnostic fees, towing fees, rental vehicle costs, transportation costs, shipping charges, storage fees, or any other related expenses associated with the use or installation of our products.

Returns will NOT be accepted on any engine or transmission that has been:

• Disassembled
• Opened
• Modified
• Improperly installed
• Used in racing or performance applications
• Missing parts or accessories

All returned items must be received by LAJDM within 30 days from the original purchase date and must arrive in the same condition as originally shipped to the customer.

Returned engines and transmissions must be complete with no missing components. Any missing or damaged parts may result in additional charges or deductions from the refund amount.

LIFTGATE / TAILGATE SERVICE

Liftgate/Tailgate and residential delivery services for freight class items require an additional surcharge. Customers must select the appropriate option when calculating shipping during checkout. Failure to select the proper delivery service may result in shipment delays and additional charges.

WHEN WE SHIP

Under normal circumstances, all orders placed before 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time will ship the same business day.

Orders placed after 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time will ship the following business day.

Out-of-stock items will be shipped within 1 business day after restocking. No shipping price adjustments will be made, as the order will still ship using the originally selected shipping method.

Customers will be notified by email within 1 business day if we are unable to process or complete the order.

WHERE WE SHIP

• We only ship to the billing address on file.
• We ship within the 48 contiguous United States.
• Customers located in Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands must contact us before placing an order.

TRACKING INFORMATION

A valid tracking number will be emailed to the customer once the order has shipped.

RETURNS

The customer is responsible for all shipping and freight charges related to returning any item, including defective items.

No replacement part, engine, or transmission will be shipped until the returned item has been received, inspected, and verified by LAJDM.

All returns require a valid RA (Return Authorization) number issued by LAJDM prior to returning any item.

The RA number must be clearly written on the outside of the package. Any return received without a valid RA number may be refused.

Customers must also include a copy of the original invoice with the returned item.

SECTION 18 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby LAJDM provides products or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.

By purchasing from LAJDM, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions, Warranty Policies, Shipping Policies, Return Policies, and all other policies published on this website.

Customers understand and agree that all warranty claims, exchanges, refunds, or replacements require the engine, transmission, or part to be returned to LAJDM for inspection and verification before any resolution will be approved.

Customers may NOT keep the engine, transmission, or part and request a refund, replacement, reimbursement, or chargeback.

Any dispute, claim, refund request, warranty claim, chargeback, or legal matter arising from the use of this website, the purchase of products, or services provided by LAJDM shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of California.

LAJDM reserves the right to deny any claim if the product has been modified, improperly installed, disassembled, abused, raced, overheated, or damaged due to customer negligence, installer error, or misuse.

All labor costs, shipping charges, diagnostic fees, towing fees, rental expenses, storage fees, and related costs are the sole responsibility of the customer and are NOT covered under warranty under any circumstances.

LAJDM reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, deny returns, or reject warranty claims at its sole discretion if the Terms & Conditions or Warranty Policies have been violated.
